Singer Kim Jeong-hoon, From The Group UN, Is Sent To Prosecutors… Hit By Car And Refuse Breathalyzer Test

Suseo Police Station in Seoul handed Kim Jeong-hoon to the prosecution on the 8th for refusing a breathalyzer test.

Last December, he crashed into a car ahead of him in Gangnam, Seoul, and refused a breathalyzer test.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. Charges of causing bodily harm are also applied under the Special Act on Traffic Accidents.

Singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon from the group UN, who was accused of refusing a breathalyzer test after causing a car accident, was sent to the prosecution.

According to the police, on the 8th, Suseo Police Station in Seoul handed over Mr. Kim, suspected of refusing a breathalyzer test under the Road Traffic Act, to the prosecution.

Mr. Kim is accused of causing an accident by changing course and colliding with a vehicle in front of him on the southern ring road in Ilwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 3:30 a.m. on December 29th last year and refusing to take a breathalyzer test by the police who were dispatched to the scene.

As the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in this accident, he was also charged with causing bodily harm under the Special Traffic Accidents Act.

This is not the first time that Mr. Kim has caused controversy due to incidents and accidents related to drinking and traffic. He was booked on charges of drunk driving in July 2011, and his license was revoked.
