Four Indian Women Were Honored In America

Four prominent Indian and Indian-American women were honored on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This honor has been given for his achievements and contribution to the society. Maharani Radhika Raje Gaekwad Neena Singh Dr. in a program organized by the Consulate General of India in New York and the Federation of Indian Associations. Indu Lew and Megha Desai have been honored.

In the program organized by the Consulate General of India in New York and the Federation of Indian Associations, Maharani Radhika Raje Gaekwad, Neena Singh, Dr. Indu Lew, and Megha Desai have been honored.

Gaikwad is committed to education and community empowerment through his philanthropic work. Neena Singh is the first Indian and Sikh woman mayor in New Jersey. Lew Clinical has demonstrated exceptional leadership in healthcare. At the same time, Megha Desai is chair of a foundation whose work focuses on improving health, livelihoods, and menstrual equity for women and children in rural India.

Consul General of India in New York Binay Pradhan and FIA President Dr. Avinash Gupta, while addressing the gathering at the Consulate on Friday. Later on, they acknowledged the indispensable role of women in society and the important steps taken towards women empowerment in India.
