Traditional Korean clothing company Hanbok and MBC’s production team resolved the design plagiarism controversy. 

They both reached an amicable agreement. 

On December 12, the hanbok company claimed that the designs used in “The Story of Park’s Contract Marriage” were used without permission. 

They posted some original compositions and wrote, “Our clothing designs were used in the currently airing drama “The Story of Parks Contract Marriage.” The company also added, “Once a costume is designed for filming purposes, there are cases where it is reused repeatedly in other dramas.

Indeed, this wasn’t because you thought it was okay to use the design secretly, right? You used them by mistake because they are pretty, right?

After all this happened, the representative from the drama production team announced,

. “We immediately apologized to the designer who posted about the hanbok design. The matter has been settled amicably.

The designer added, “There was a communication error during the outsourcing process.

 The methods provided as references were used as they were. I hope it is not an issue anymore, so please refrain from criticism.
