This is a wonderful portrayal of corporate drama with no romantic subplots. Agency dramas mainly focus on Go Ah-in’s determination to achieve her goals and overcome her childhood trauma, where her mother left his father’s house because of abuse. This drama crash course in romance follows a maths tutor, Choi- Chai-yeol (played by Jung Kyung Ho), and a former athlete who turns into a shop owner, Nam Haeng-Seon (Jeon Do-Yeon). They met because of Haeng-Seon’s daughter Nam-Hae-Yi (Roh-Yoon-Seon)
It’s very hard to show what it looks like to fall in love with someone who is not able to express their love. He thinks that she is married, but she’s not exactly a single mom with a strange uncle’s family. She had a difficult life, so you can easily empathize with her situation and the fact that he finds her a good person. The blossoming romance between them makes it a more than enjoyable and comforting ride. If you are looking for something light to watch, then you must add this to your watch list.
Love to hate you.
If you are looking for a short drama packed with comedy, action and electrifying chemistry, then you must watch this k drama series, Love to Hate You. Yeo Mi-ran (Kim Ok-Vin) is a novice attorney at Gilmu law firm, which works especially for the film industry. She is not interested in having a romantic relationship, and she doesn’t like to lose to a man at any cost.
On the other hand, Nam Kang-ho (Yoo-Teo) is a famous actor in the entertainment industry. He is popular, intelligent and has a stunning appearance. He sought to work in romantic movies, but he didn’t trust women. Mi-ran and Kang-Ho meet for the first time when Mi-ran represents his case, and they begin to meet from enemies to lovers, a trajectory built around a fake relationship. This is an enemies-lover story with a nicely executed plot and an amazing cast.
Oasis
The story, set between the 1980s and 1990s, unfolds the dreams, friendship, and love of three young girls and how their company turns into a rivalry. Lee Doo-hak (Jang Dong-Yoon) is a high school student who falls in love with Oh Jung-shin (Seol In-a), who is a transfer student from Seoul at first sight. She was brave and fought against injustice. She forms a bond with Cheo Woong (Choo-Yeong-woo) and Lee Doo-hak. But Chai Cheol-Woon and Lee Doo-hak are childhood friends and rivals too. This story tells about how humans try to survive in flawed relationships, driven by selfishness, revenge, and greed, but still hope to find happiness at the end of the journey. The storyline was good. It keeps you wanting to watch what will happen next; the action scenes and emotions are there, which satisfy you.
Queenmaker
Hwang Do-hee (Kim Hee-Ae) is the highly trusted general manager at Eun Sung Group, that is until real lives are put in harm’s way and the company’s unethical practices are disclosed. When she was kicked out of the company, she employed human rights lawyer Oh Kyung-sook(Moon So-ri) to expose the reality of politics, shedding light on the evils of the Eun Sung company. Both strive for the same goal, which makes Oh Kyung-sook the mayor of Seoul in the end. This series showcases politically charged stories with strong female heroines at the forefront. This is a story of two ferocious women on a quest for justice, wielding power politics and pantsuits in their unique ways.
The Tale of nine tailed 1938
it’s an interesting fairytale that meets real-world scenarios; it’s a bit unrealistic, but this show will just let your imagination run, and you will forget about real life for a while. The main character, Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook), an immortal-tailed fox or Gumiho, gets involved in some case for which he travels back to the year 1938. There, she meets Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) again, and she feels excited for Lee Yeon.was embroiled in a tangled web of human politics, the law of spiritual realms and friction between Japanese officials in Korea during a time of traumatic imperialism and colonization. This is full of fantasy, melodrama, horror, comedy and conversations about humanity.
Taxi driver season2
Taxi Driver, the K drama, is mostly adored and praised for its revenge narrative. This series casts Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-Hoon), an ex-military man whose mother was murdered. Besides offering rides to passengers, the Rainbow Taxi agency also offers ‘revenge call” services to the victims who can not find redress through common channels. After finishing their last mission, some of the members decided to leave that company, but Kim Do-jin remained the same. After disbanding, Rainbow reforms in this thrilling season 2 to help more victims. Rainbow Taxi continues its cases like child traffickers, sexism or bigotry. If you have not seen it yet, then you really should watch it; you will be hooked!
The Glory Part 2
The series is all about Moon Dong-Eun (Song Hye-Kyo), a high school student who wanted to become an architect until she became the victim of high school violence by her fellow students in part 1. But in part 2, everything is about to change as this part will ramp up the tension, tuning a knife slowly and causing the characters and audience enough pain to feel panic and emotional distress. This part casts Park Yeon-Jin (played by Lim Ji-yeon) as the main leading actor. The battle between the pair forms the motionless core of the series, which circumvents through unpredicted twists and turns, keeping viewers constantly on their feet.
The good, bad mother
This is the story of a single mother who runs a pig farm named Young-Soon (Ra-mil-ran). His son Kang-Ho (Lee do-Hyun) is a prosecutor and has a cold-hearted personality. He stays away from his mother when a life-changing accident reverts Khang Ho to a seven-year-old child of age mentally. Here, the mother, Young-Soon, gets one more chance to change his son’s perspective towards her. She wanted to set out to undo the trauma she had unwittingly put her son through, and it takes us on a journey that is as heart breaking as it is human. Setting out the relationship is not so easy but too complex- which is why the good and bad mother moved us to tears. Every episode is thrilling to watch, and the next episode is worth waiting for.
Dr romantic season3
Kim Sabu (Han Suk-kyu) and the team at Doldham Hospital continue to save many lives and also welcome the new connecting trauma centre, which features the latest medical equipment. Now, season 3 chronicles the saga of genius surgeon Kim (Han Suk-kyu) fighting against healthcare injustice to treat sick and wounded patients at any cost. The title is a bit deceiving as not much romance happens other than just lies, deceit, and corrupted people who abuse their power either because of their money or position or both. It’s a must-watch drama series!!!
