Bentley launched An Extra Roomy Bentayga EWB In Korea For 1st Time. 

Bentley Motors launched the Bentayga EWB to the Korean market on Tuesday. This is the roomiest option in the British carmaker’s current line up.

It is the extended version of the Bentayga SUV, which was first launched in 2017. 

EWB stands for “extra wheelbase,” having more space in the rear door for added legroom. 

The length of the car has been increased to 5,302 millimeters from 180 millimeters previously. Changes in the design are minimal, except for the new vertical vane grille that replaces the mesh look up front.

A notable change is made on the “airline seat, which can recline up to 40 degrees. This airline also reacts with the body temperature by heating and cooling different sections of the body.

It will also adjust the pressure points for maximum comfort.

A footrest folds out from the base of the front seat while the rear seat back reclines.

New Bentagya is equipped with a 4-liter and 8-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine.

This considerable SUV can generate up to 550 horsepower and 78.5 kilograms-meter of torque. The horsepower can reach up to 290 kilometers per hour, and it takes only 4.6 seconds to reach 100 kilometers per hour from zero.

The regular Bentagya targets the drivers who drive themselves; this new version is for motorists.

The director of the Bentley Korean operations mentioned that “the demand for personalization is very high in Korean customers, with EWB completely satisfying their taste. 

Director Schilck did not reveal the sales targets in the korean market but added that Bentagya EWB will take up to 40 percent. 

The price of the sticker starts from 340 million won($260000) in Korea. 

Deliveries will begin in the first half of the following year.

Korea is the No.1 market for Bentley and is also in the Asia Pacific region. , last year Bentley sold 775 cars in the korean market. It’s about 38 percent of total sales in the Asia Pacific region.
