Recently, SBS unveiled the suspenseful sneak peek of its new drama “Connection”.

Jeon Mi Do and Ji Sung are playing the main lead in the new drama “Connection”. This is a crime investigation thriller drama which finds out about the distorted friendship when they are investigating the death of a friend from high school who left 5 billion won in insurance after his death. The director, Lee Tae Gon, and the writer previously worked together in the “Diary of a Prosecutor” drama.

Ji Sung will be playing the role of Inspector Jang Jae Kyung, who worked in a narcotics team at Anhyun police station. Ji Sung is respected by his juniors and appreciated by seniors within the police station. Jang Jae Kyung stays away from his family and friends to protect them from danger. He doesn’t want to make his family his weakness and always sticks to principles regarding work.

The recently released stills of the teaser start with news reports about the increasing cases of drugs. The crime related to drugs has been rapidly increasing day by day. The government is waging a war on drugs to catch the actual culprit behind such heinous crimes. The teaser shows Jang Jae Kyun (Ji Sung), a respected and talented narcotics detective. Jang Jae Kyun’s world suddenly ends when he falls into a trap. Ji Sung received a message from an unknown person called “Doctor”. Ji Sung was attacked wickedly from behind- and when he woke up, he found himself as a drug-addicted person. He didn’t want to take drugs; it was entirely against his will.

 As Jang Jae Kyun (Ji Sung) fight with his new addiction, someone asks in the voice-over, “A narcotics detective is taking drugs.”?!. When a man remarks, “something suspicious looks about this,” Oh Yoon Jin responds by nodding confidently. She asks someone, “they are trying to cover up this incident, right?”

After this, Jang Jae Kyung (Ji Sung) is shown running behind someone, holding his heavy breath, and a woman asks him, “Detective Jung, why are you behaving like this nowadays?” The teaser ends with him saying, “Even I have no idea what’s happening with me and from whom the connection begins.”

On the other hand, Jeon Mi Do will play the role of OhYoon Jin, a reporter. She is an opinionated and outspoken reporter working in the social department of Anhyun Economic Daily. She cannot tolerate injustice and always raises her voice for victims without fear; therefore, she is unfairly dismissed from her previous job. After returning to Anhyun City, she became a shameless reporter and thought of friendship as money.
